📢 Upcoming breaking changes

Beginning in July, the Buoy API team will be introducing a new version of the Buoy symptom checker API. The upcoming version of our API lays the framework for us to implement new developer tools. Additionally, we will be simplifying some of our API request and response bodies.

In the new version you can expect:

  • An updated base URL for all requests
  • Minor updates to the "audience" field used in authorization workflows
  • Minor changes to a small subset of request and response bodies

The new version will be released to our sandbox environment before being made available in production. To support the transition, we will be publishing an updated API reference and guides. Additionally, we will release a transition guide outlining required changes in your clients. We expect API clients to transition to the new version within 6 weeks.
