Updates to the sandbox medical database

We've refreshed the medical databases that power the symptom checker interview in the sandbox environment. This refresh brings the medical content in the sandbox environment closer to the medical content that is found in our production environment. This means that you will see more similar question logic, complaint interpretations, and images (to name a few) between the sandbox and production environments.

Please note that refreshing the medical databases is a destructive process. Organizations are not able to access prior interview data and test scripts may need to be updated to accommodate any updates to the Buoy AI-powered symptom checker logic.

What's Next?

We're planning to automate our medical refresh process. Going forward, we plan to update the medical databases on a regular basis (likely monthly).

Refreshing the environment on a regular interval will simplify API testing by ensuring that the sandbox environment more closely matches the medical content in production.
